Women's Personal Protection (HD-110)
Three evenings, in a group. You are never required to touch a firearm.
Service Description
This is the group version of my women's home defense work: three evenings together, built around three questions you can use on anything that scares you long after the course is over. This is not a class about being afraid. It is a class about being prepared, disciplined, and decisive. Fear is loud and useless. A plan is quiet and works. You are never required to touch a firearm in this course. The firearm is one tool in a layered plan. It is the last layer, not the first reaction. Most of what keeps you and your family safe happens before you ever touch one: in how your home is hardened, in how your family communicates, and in the decisions you make in daylight, in advance, when nothing is wrong. The order I teach in: your mind first, because it is the best tool you already own. Then your eyes and ears, seeing what is in front of you instead of what you fear. Then avoidance, getting out or repositioning, which quietly ends most problems before they start. And only then, if nothing else was possible, the firearm. The three questions, which are the frame the whole course hangs on: • What am I afraid of? Name it specifically. Not "crime." The walk to the car after dark. The front door with your hands full. The gas pump at night. • What does the honest data say about it? • What can I change, on the budget and the calendar I actually have? A woman who owns those three questions does not need me in the room to work the next problem. That is the point. What you leave with: • Your Routine Audit, the noticing week between Session 1 and Session 2 • The Four Universal Firearm Safety Rules • The 2/2 Rule, with a worksheet you fill out • Your Home Walkthrough Worksheet, completed for your own house • Your Safe Room Inventory • Your Family Communication Plan: code word, rally points, who goes to whom • Your Family Witness Script and your 911 Script • An optional section for if and when you choose a firearm, with a dry-practice routine and a range plan • A post-incident card you can tear out and keep There is homework between sessions. It is short, and it is the part that makes the rest stick. The 2/2 Rule is the work of the Armed Attorneys, Edwin Walker and Richard Hayes, and the credit is theirs. If you want to put rounds downrange afterward, the live-fire capstone is a separate half-day and it is optional. Every student signs the FTA Release and Waiver, the release we use for all HTS classes, before training begins. To ask about dates, pricing, or to request a seat, email hondotraining@gmail.com.
